kimbofo  > Travel > New York > New York - October 2005
Ahh, New York, how I love thee!

Two trips in less than six months. This was the second trip, and these photos are a mish-mash of sights and sounds I'll remember for a long time.

kimbofo > Who'd a thunk it? Ricky Gervais with his own billboard!
kimbofo > The infamous nightclub CBGB where the likes of Deborah Harry and Talking Heads got their start.
kimbofo > Another look at CBGB's. We were a little scared to cross the road for a closer look: there were a lot of WEIRDOS hanging out the front.
kimbofo > CBGB's - again. Note that it looks very close to being knocked down - it's about the last building left on the block.
kimbofo > Ahhh. Books. And a whole 18 miles of them at The Strand Bookstore.
kimbofo > It rained a lot when we were in New York. This picture was taken by accident in the middle of a horrendous rainstorm. I have no idea who the girl in the blue raincoat and red umbrella is, but she was better prepared for the weather than me.
kimbofo > I love the steam that comes out of New York's streets. It looked especially atmospheric when the weather was so wet that I risked ruining my camera by taking this picture in the pissing down rain.
