Postmans Park is one of London's best-kept secrets, hidden in the backstreets somewhere between St Paul's Cathedral and the British Museum.
As well as the normal park fare - seats, garden beds, lawns - it features a unique and strangely poignant memorial to ordinary men and women who lost their lives in the late 19th century carrying out extraordinary acts of courage.
These photographs were taken on Easter Sunday 2005 using a Sony Cybershot digital camera.
