Dingle Peninsula is on the west coast of Ireland. The remote, Gaelic-speaking region contains the largest concentration of monastic ruins in western Europe.
Dramatic scenery, including mist-covered mountains and valleys, sandy beaches and rugged islands, adds to the area's magical atmosphere.
The photographs on this page were taken with a 35mm SLR camera in November/December 2001 (and then scanned in on a crappy scanner!)
