The British Museum, first opened in 1753, is located in London. It houses one of the greatest collections of human cultural history, if you're into that sort of thing (I'm not).

I took a quick visit one Sunday in September 2006 to check out the Great Court, the biggest covered square in Europe and was very impressed by what I saw.
