Clouds : I love clouds. Can you tell?

Most of these pictures were taken during the summer of 2006 -- from the bedroom window of our apartment in West Kensington. Others were taken on the Thames Path in Hammersmith.

The jet streams apparant in some of these photographs are from planes flying into and out of Heathrow Airport.

Flora : "Earth laughs in flowers"

My mother has an amazing garden that grows on half a hectare of land in south-eastern Victoria. She has a happy mix of Australian natives and introduced species that host a rich variety of bird (and insect) life. Most of the photographs in this album were taken on Boxing Day 2004, but there are some other pictures taken in the wilds of Tasmania a week or two earlier.

All photographs were taken on a Sony Cybershot DCS-W1 using the Macro automatic function.
